After graduating from the Geneva University Law School in 1983, Mr. Etienne Soltermann successfully passed his bar exam in 1986 and has practiced as an independent attorney in his own firm ever since.
Member of the Geneva Bar Association as well as of the of Federal Swiss Bar Association, Mr. Soltermann is active essentially in Geneva, but also conducts litigation and counsels clients all over Switzerland both before cantonal and federal Courts.
Mr. Soltermann has practiced mainly as a general practitioner, assisting his clients, individuals and legal entities, both in litigation and with extrajudicial advice. Having accomplished his schooling and professional training in different linguistic regions of Switzerland as well as abroad, Mr. Soltermann is perfectly fluent and works in French, English, German and Spanish, which enables him to assist his clients both in Switzerland and internationally.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Soltermann has been appointed as a sworn translator by the State of Geneva regarding the four above-mentioned languages and looks back on several decades of experience in translation and interpretation in legal, financial and banking matters.
